🛏️ [Staying overnight] 235 dates are quiet in the park and cheap for a room?

Park crowds and room rates do not read the same calendar. The park responds to whether today is a day off; the room responds to whether tomorrow morning is. Line the week up and the cheap nights and the quiet days sit on different dates.

Room rates key off the next morning, not the day itself. Across 724 days, 486 nights fall and 238 climb. 235 dates are quiet in the park and cheap for a room; 76 lose on both counts. Day trips only need the weekday. Overnight stays need the morning after as well.

357 falling-rate nights are still ahead, sorted quietest park day first. The table shows the first 40 of them. The park level is a call we make ahead of the date, not a visitor count for it.

🛏️ 235 dates win on both counts!

Counting one day at a time, 486 of the 724 nights sit on the falling side for room rates. Of those, 235 are also quiet inside the park.

Only 76 dates lose twice — busy park, climbing rate. The dates where the two axes agree outnumber the ones where they fight.

So the faster move is not hunting for a cheap night, but starting from the dates that clear both. Skipping the weekend alone does not put you inside that set.

💸 Thursday night is the cheapest!?

By weekday, rates fall on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday nights and climb on Friday, Saturday nights.

The lowest is Thursday night, the highest Saturday night. The climbing nights bunch into 2 weekdays. Sunday night lands between them, on the "average" side.

Over 724 days that is 486 falling nights against 238 climbing ones. Outside the weekend, the nights are not all alike.

🌙 Does the room flip on Monday and Friday?

On park crowds, Monday reads Normal and Friday reads Normal — the same word on our scale.

The room says something else. Monday night is "falling", Friday night is "climbing". Same park word, opposite room word.

The room is pricing the morning after, not the day. Friday runs into Saturday; Monday runs into Tuesday. Park crowds and room rates follows that mechanism through.

⚖️ The weekend's cheaper night is Sunday!

A weekend trip leaves two nights to pick from: the one before or the one after. In the park, Friday reads Normal and Sunday reads Normal — the same word on our scale.

The room does not match that. Friday night is "climbing", Sunday night is "average". Either side of the same weekend, the room sits lower on Sunday night.

The two sit on opposite sides of the "is tomorrow a day off?" line. Park words can land close together while room words pull apart. Where exactly that line falls is the question rates and the morning after takes on.

🧭 Book on price alone and the park bites back!

Monday night sits on the "falling" side, yet the park that day reads Normal.

It runs the other way too: a night can climb without the park being extreme. Friday night is "climbing". A cheap night and a quiet day are not automatically the same date.

Start from the 235 dates that clear both. For the dates themselves, try picking a quiet date; for the weekday pattern, crowds by weekday.
