π« [Visiting after Sept] Still think there is a free shortcut?
There is no free way left to shorten a queue: skipping ahead now means paying for Premier Access. We cannot write in-park strategy, but we can put a number on what moving your visit by a single day is worth.
There is no longer any free way to shorten a queue. The 40th Anniversary Priority Pass ended on 31 August 2026, and skipping ahead now means paying for Premier Access. The attraction lineup widened the next day, at Β₯1,000 to Β₯2,500 a ride. Standby Pass is free, but it is a slot for joining a queue, not a way to shorten one, and it covers no attractions. The only free lever left is which day you go. Across the 724 days we cover, the quietest and busiest days are 5 levels apart.
π« Every free way to skip a queue is now gone!
What ended on 31 August was the free Priority Pass. Paid Premier Access continues. The free route closed and only the paid one remains.
Skipping an attraction queue costs Β₯1,000 to Β₯2,500 per person per ride, and the headline ones sit at Β₯2,500. Four people on three rides lands between Β₯20,000 and Β₯30,000 β on top of the park tickets.
π The quietest and busiest days are 5 levels apart!
Sort the 724 days we cover by level and the bottom reads Easy, the top Packed β 5 levels apart. 143 days sit at the lowest level; 32 sit at the top two.
That gap does not care whether a pass exists. It is a property of the crowd itself. While the free pass existed you could claw back some of a bad date. Now you cannot.
| Level | Land | Sea |
|---|---|---|
| Wide open | 25min | 30min |
| Easy | 40min | 45min |
| Fairly easy | 55min | 60min |
| Normal | 80min | 95min |
| Fairly busy | 95min | 110min |
| Busy | 120min | 140min |
| Packed | 135min | 155min |

π€ Is "just pay for it" really the answer?
This part is opinion. It looks like buying back a difference the date could have absorbed for free. Going on a busy day and paying Β₯1,500 several times, versus going on a quiet day and paying nothing, is a different price for the same experience.
Plenty of people cannot move their dates. Which is exactly why moving them is worth more now, for those who can.
π Shifting the date is the only lever left
There are 446 weekdays that are neither a public holiday nor inside a school break. Choosing from those alone removes the top level from your options. That is the whole of what is still free.
Work down the weekday, then the shape of the holidays, then the season, and the shortlist narrows on its own.
