💴 [On a budget] Same single day, but ¥3,500 apart!
Coverage of the ticket treats it as a price rise. But a ladder of prices means the park is charging differently by date, and dynamic pricing exists to move demand. We read the ladder as a statement about which days it expects to be busy.
From Oct 10 (Sat) the adult 1-Day Passport has 6 price levels. ¥8,900 to ¥12,400 — a gap of ¥3,500 for the same single day. Dynamic pricing exists to spread demand, so the price is the park telling you which days it expects to be busy. Our own forecast agrees in shape: only 42% of days sit in the bottom two levels, and 4% in the top two.
💴 ¥3,500 apart for the same single day!
From the Oct 10 (Sat) entry date, the adult 1-Day Passport runs ¥8,900 / ¥9,400 / ¥9,900 / ¥10,900 / ¥11,900 / ¥12,400 — 6 levels, topping out at ¥12,400.
That gap moves purely by changing the date. For four people it is ¥14,000. The date alone is worth a night's accommodation.
📊 The official price reads as a crowd forecast
This part is opinion. Dynamic pricing exists to spread demand, so the only reason to price a day high is expecting it to be busy. The price table is the frankest crowd forecast the park publishes.
And the park has the booking numbers. We only infer from the shape of the calendar, so we cannot compete on information. We publish anyway because we want to see dates further out than the prices reach.
🧭 A cheap day is cheap twice over
On a cheap day the ticket is cheap and the park is quiet. On an expensive day you pay more to buy a crowd. 306 days in our range sit in the bottom two levels, or 42% of them.
Room rates move on a different axis again. A quiet park can still come with an expensive room, so if you are staying over, read that one too.
⚠️ We have not verified that price matches the crowd
Honestly: we cannot read the official per-date prices by machine. The official site blocks automated requests, so we cannot yet put a number on how well price and our forecast agree.
So this article stops at "price should be a usable proxy". If we manage the comparison, the result will be published the same way as the accuracy check.
It also means we cannot publish a date-by-date price list. Check the amount for your own entry date on the official purchase page. The crowd side is the half we can give you.
