⚖️ [Weekday visitors] A year of Mondays and Fridays: Friday came out quieter?

Monday, the quietest weekday: our own model had it that way at first. Rebuilt against measured data, Monday moved to the busiest side of the working week. Here are both weekdays, a year of each.

Weekdays do not get busier as the week goes on. Out of 724 days we pulled 104 Mondays and 103 Fridays: both land on Normal. Same word, different days underneath. Room rates flip it: the cheaper night lands on Monday.

The table partway down shows how far the longest wait stretches at each level. It scales one measured snapshot by level, so it is a ceiling to expect, not the wait on a given ride. Monday and Friday are both graded by our forecast, not by attendance counts.

📅 Friday is the quieter one!

We took every Monday and every Friday out of 724 days: 104 and 103 of them. Friday comes out ahead.

Ahead of today, 77 Mondays and 76 Fridays are left. The quietest of them is Sep 18 (Fri).

🎯 Same word, different days!?

The quietest level in play is Easy. Monday reaches it on 11 days, Friday on 24.

Landing on the same word does not mean the days behind it match. How far the peak wait stretches when the level moves is in the table below.

🤔 Is Friday always the safe pick?

The busiest level in play is Busy. Monday hits it on 24 days, Friday on 5. The winning side owns some of those days too.

Pick by weekday alone and you step on one of them. A public holiday or a long weekend turns the same weekday into a different day. crowds by weekday lines up every weekday.

🏨 The quieter park day is the pricier night!

Room rates read falling on Monday and climbing on Friday. That is not the park's order.

Hotels are pricing tomorrow, not today. Day trip: Friday. Overnight: the Monday night. Two different weekdays. We work through it in park crowds and room rates.

🔍 We only caught this by recounting!

This order flipped when we rebuilt the model against measured data. The old version, with its constants set by hand, had Monday as the quietest weekday.
