💴 [Buying tickets] Same passport, ¥3,500 between the cheapest and dearest day?

Open the ticket page expecting one price, and the number moves the moment you pick a date. The same 1-Day Passport is cut into steps by entry date. This article is about the shape of that ladder.

The price of a one-day ticket is set by the date you enter, not by the ticket. From Oct 10, 2026 the adult 1-Day Passport is shown in 6 steps on the official ticket page. The floor is ¥8,900, the ceiling ¥12,400, ¥3,500 between them. Which date lands on which step is only visible in the purchase flow, so the ladder is as far as we go.

Amounts are as displayed on Sep 3, 2026 and move with each revision. The chart further down estimates how far the longest queue stretches at each crowd level. Those levels are our own forecast for the day, not a count of anyone through the gates.

🪜 The price is a ladder with 6 steps!

From Oct 10, 2026 the adult 1-Day Passport reads ¥8,900 / ¥9,400 / ¥9,900 / ¥10,900 / ¥11,900 / ¥12,400. The official ticket page shows 6 steps, and we do not treat the count as settled.

What splits is not the ticket, it is the day you go in. Same passport, same single day, different date.

💸 The cheapest and dearest days are ¥3,500 apart!?

The floor is ¥8,900 and the ceiling ¥12,400, ¥3,500 apart, and that is one person. Line up a party and the gap multiplies with it.

The steps are not even: some rise ¥500, others ¥1,000. One step does not always cost the same, so the ladder is not an even climb.

🧒 Why only the adult price?

Adult fares are the only ones here. Junior and child prices disagree between sources, so we leave them out rather than pick one and hope.

The figures come from the official ticket page (東京ディズニーリゾート 公式チケットページ, https://www.tokyodisneyresort.jp/ticket/) as displayed on Sep 3, 2026, checked Sep 2, 2026. Prices move with every revision, so confirm on the official page before you buy.

The count of steps we still file as "medium". So we report it as what the official page displays, not as a settled number.

📅 The price ladder is a forecast too!

Opinion from here. Pricing by date exists to spread demand, so the ladder reads as a statement about how each date is seen. Whether the dear days and the busy days are the same days, we do not settle here. That comparison is still open in do prices match the crowds.

The crowd side is counted: month by month, and the shape of the holidays.

Staying over runs on its own clock, which is park crowds and room rates. What we can offer is the range: at the quietest level Tokyo Disneyland tops out around 25 minutes, at the busiest about 135.
