Busy days feel like they should open earlier. In every set of published hours we hold, the opening time never moved once. What moved was never the gate — it was the number of people standing at it. This article is about that one time of day.

The opening time has not moved once in any of the hours we have collected. Across 696 entries from Mar 8, 2026 to Feb 18, 2027, there is exactly one opening time. It is 09:00. What changes is not the gate, but how many people show up at it.

The question we get is "what time should I be there". We do not record the queue at the gates. Nothing in our data says where in line a given arrival time puts you.

We do not publish numbers we do not have. What we can publish is how many people that date is likely to bring.

🔥 Pick the day, not the hour!

Because the gate never moves, what decides the value of an early start is the date. Two visits both entering at 09:00 can look nothing alike.

Waits swing hard across the levels: at the quietest, Disneyland tops out near 25 minutes; at the busiest, about 135 minutes.

Arriving earlier buys less than arriving on a quieter day. Crowds by weekday has that counted.
